FOR OUR CHURCH - Remember to GIFT AID
We are always grateful for any donations (no matter how small) towards the operating costs of our church, which increase year on year.

There are offertory slots on the wall in the porch / entrance area of the church for visitors

CAFOD:
There are the envelopes and a box at the back of the Church for any old mobile phones or printer cartridges.

FOR HOMELINK:
We are always grateful for any donations (no matter how small) towards this very worthwhile charity. You can read about the Homlink and what it does on http://www.homelinklct.org.uk/about-us/

In the present economic climate, there is even more need to continue to have funds available to help those who ask for assistance.

There is a real need for more volunteers, especially those able, to help with the heavier work of setting up and clearing away after events, usually only 2 or 3 times a year.
Are you able to assist?
If so please contact Margaret Slattery or Father. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FOR FOOD BANK:
A collection for the local food bank in Newhaven. Please donate any non perishable items in the box in the porch (on a table opposite prayer/hymn book cabinet).

GIFT AID:
The Government's Gift Aid scheme (click to read more) allows all churches and charities to reclaim tax paid on any donation made by a UK taxpayer. The Gift Aid envelope provides the ideal means for recovering that essential little extra.
For those in the scheme, the envelopes for the new financial year are now available at the back of the Church.

If you are not in the scheme but pay tax, why not join as all your donations and Mass offerings will be worth 25p in the pound more to the Parish. There is just one form to complete and no further enquiry is made of your finances. Please see Halden or any member of the committee.

Don't forget, for every £10 in tax paid donations, the taxman will add another £2.50 under Gift Aid.
